I would recommend the God Girl Bible to any girl who wants a Bible that is pretty and easy to read. I have enjoyed reading the short profiles on different God Girls in the Bible, and some of the questions about problems girls like me face really got me thinking!

I really admire the prayers throughout the whole Bible, because they are true to what I am facing and that helps me know what to pray. I also like the small introductions at the beginning of each chapter to give a summary about it. It taught me more about the Bible that I didn't know.

The Reading Plans in the back of the Bible are helpful for having your own quiet time, as are the devotions throughout the Scripture. I enjoyed reading and studying the God Girl Bible when we did devotions as a family and when I used it at church. The translation made it easy to read and sometimes made me think of the verse differently and helped me understand it better.

The creator of the devotions, prayers and profiles did a good job of adding the Scripture to them, because it is about God's Word, not about the devotions themselves. If you are looking for a Bible that is very good at explaining and answering questions we all have and more, this Bible is for you!
