This Little Prayer of Mine by Anthony DeStefano and Mark Elliott - REVIEW AND GIVE AWAY!

ABOUT THIS BOOK: (from the publisher)

Nothing Compares to Childlike Faith

I know you're up in heaven, God,
and can hear my voice from there.
I'm just a little child.
Will you answer my short prayer?

So begins this delightful book that affirms God's readiness to answer our prayers, no matter what our age.

With engaging rhymes and beautiful illustrations, This Little Prayer of Mine assures children that God is always near--watching, listening, caring, and eager to respond to their requests. They'll also learn that prayer isn't just about asking for things, but about sharing their feelings of sadness and uncertainty as well as of thanksgiving and joy.

Most importanly, This Little Prayer of Mine reminds children—and those who love them—that they can trust God to tenderly care for them, no matter what the future holds.

MY THOUGHTS:

Oh dear readers! This Little Prayer of Mine is truly a precious picture of childlike faith! I have always had a special love for picture books, and the illustrations in this book bring Anthony DeStefano’s words to vivid and entertaining life! As a brother and sister kneel to pray, they bring the many facets of their life to their Heavenly Father. From their behavior and to their daily interactions with others, then reaching to their thankfulness and their desires for the future, each page brings familiar and precious situations to the Father in prayer. Parents will smile as they share this with their children, and I daresay it will open doors of discussion as both parent and child will relate to the situations that are included.

This book absolutely delighted me, and I am very happy to recommend it to you! This book also bears the endorsement of the National Day of Prayer, and will be a terrific addition to any Sunday school class, schoolroom class, or private book collection.

I am especially excited to tell you that I have an extra copy to offer as a give away! Please leave a comment and your contact information to be entered for your chance to win!
