Ahhhhhh! Love! Romance! Fairy tales! Janice Thompson’s Swinging on a Star is a precious, fun-filled story that makes your heart feel light and satisfied all at once! Myself, I fell in love with the Rossi family in the first book of the series, Fools Rush In, and now I wish there was a Rossi man for me to marry! Well, not really, but you can’t help but love this crazy, chaotic, love-filled family – nutty parrot and all! (yes, Guido is back and still making trouble!) That’s exactly the love that gripped Brock Benson, a.k.a. Vinnie DiMarco, when he came to town for a Renaissance wedding! What an adventure that turned out to be!
Janice Thompson hasn’t deprived readers of any of the colorful, fun-loving characters readers met at the beginning of this series. Aunt Rosa and Uncle Laz are still arguing like crazy as they create unforgettable Italian meals in the Rossi kitchen. Sophia is still bouncing from man to man trying to look like the perfect Italian lady, and D.J’s brother is making his operatic debut under the guidance and coaching of Bella’s mom. All the while, Bella is tasked with re-creating a Camelot-like setting, complete with castle and moat, for her biggest themed wedding yet! Hiding a famous movie-star in the mix while planning for Rosa’s national debut on the food network only pushes things to the limit of nerve-wracking! And did I mention there was a storm?
Oh great day in the morning! This book is so much fun and filled with so much honest, down-to-earth love for others and the love of Jesus that you will have a blast with every page that’s turned! Yes, it’s a little chaotic, but it’s real, and that genuine love just radiates from the pages! Oh, and I forgot that the three sisters from Splendora’s Full Gospel Chapel just ice the cake on this story! SO MUCH FUN!!
So what are you waiting for? Join the fans of Janice Thompson’s Weddings by Bella series today! Fools Rush In and the latest, Swinging on a Star are the most fun you can have between the covers….of a book!!

Your review made me laugh! I posted mine yesterday. I'm loving this series! (And the fact that it's set in Texas is just icing on the cake!)
What a lovely review! You've made my day. :)
I can't wait to see what you think about Rosa and Laz's wedding in book three. It happens while Bella is TRYING to plan her own wedding to D.J. Stress "trying." The relatives come to Galveston from Italy, so you'll get to meet even MORE of the Rossi clan. And you'll NEVER believe who's falling in love with who, where those Splendora sisters are concerned. What a blast this series was to write, and how wonderful you precious reviewers have made me feel.
