desperate measures by Sandra Orchard - REVIEWED

About the Book:
Kate won't be safe until all of Port Aster's secrets are revealed
Researcher Kate Adams has finally pinpointed the supposed "miracle plant" that tore apart her family years ago. She's certain that discovering its secrets is her only hope of solving the mystery surrounding her father's disappearance. She's willing to risk anything to find the truth, including her relationship with Detective Tom Parker. But with so many people in pursuit of the plant, going it alone might be a fatal mistake.

Award-winning author Sandra Orchard pulls out all the stops in this breakneck and breathtaking conclusion to the Port Aster Secrets series.

My Thoughts:
Makes me glad that sometimes God says no so he can give us what we truly desire.” (p.350)
By the time these words are spoken in the conclusion of the Port Aster series, Desperate Measures, the reader is rather desperate for some relief in the tension!  Have mercy!  Sandra Orchard delivers an explosive conclusion to her series, and it is only by the Lord’s good grace that Kate Adams and Tom Parker make it to the end of the novel.

That admission is the closest thing you’ll get to a spoiler from me, but suffice it to say, nothing is as it seems in this story!  Absolutely nothing!  There are so many layers of deception and so many red herrings tossed into the plot, that your head is fairly spinning!  Lost teens, dangerous murderers, deadly poison…you name it, this book has it!  You will be reading at a frantic pace to discover who survives this crazy maze of plot twists!

I’ve reviewed this entire series!  Check it out and add some real thrills to your summer!!

Blind Trust and Deadly Devotion are the first two books in this amazing trilogy!!
