Bible Dominoes by Juliet David; Illustrated by Jo Parry - REVIEWED

This domino game helps children to learn about the Bible and Jesus while playing! It also encourages communication, sharing, counting, and matching skills. The pieces are large and colorful, so they're easy to pick up, and the pictures are clear. The set includes 28 dominoes with a mixture of Bible story characters, numbers, and animals to match, as well as instructions and a story booklet explaining the stories featured on the cards. A useful resource for home, school, or Sunday school.

My Thoughts:

This game couldn't have come at a more perfect time!  Summer is the perfect time to introduce games to young children!  Juliet David has taken basic Bible stories and used them to create a perfect teaching tool for children 3 years and older.  Children will learn to count, to recognize numbers written as words, and to correctly match numbers of items and the word that represents each number!  The game comes with an abbreviated Bible story book that gives added meaning to the colorful drawings on each playing tile.

This will add lots of fun to your child's Summer, and would be a perfect addition to a Sunday school classroom or Vacation Bible School game room.  Parents and teachers will love playing this game with the children in their lives!
