Four Letter Words by Bill Giovannetti - Reviewed

About the Book: (from the publisher)

Thou shalt tolerate every opinion... except the Christian's. Today's postmodern "prime directive" leaves many followers of Jesus tongue-tied. In the global village, isn't it unreasonable, and even dangerous, to suggest that the Bible has a monopoly on truth?

The church needs a new breed of Christ-follower. We need Christ-followers who are alert to today's touchy ideas, the truths that fire up more heat than light. We need Christ-followers who can make a clear case for the Bible's worldview; who are ready to help our friends think through their beliefs; who can recognize inconsistencies and challenge them; and who can do all of this with humility, confidence, humor, and love. My Thoughts:

Four Letter Words is a book packed – PACKED – packed with useful, thought provoking questions that you can use as an entryway into conversations that explain your faith to unbelievers. I don’t mean this is a book of questions….but the author explores a lot of subjects that raise questions and answer questions that many of us – if not all of us – wrestle with at some point in our faith walk. Giovannetti writes in a direct manner that addresses topics of absolute truth in an era where everything is considered fair game in the spiritual realm.

This is a phenomenal teaching tool for young adults and adults who want to learn how to explain their faith to a wide variety of people who doubt not only the truth of God’s Word but the very existence of God Himself. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to be able to give an answer for his faith with truth and clarity.
