Please Be Praying for the Easley Family

Last night, about 9pm, Beverly Easley went to be with the Savior! Her battle with cancer is finally over, and she is whole again and worshiping at the Savior's feet. She leaves behind eight beautiful children and a dear husband, and they need our prayers during this very difficult time.

Beverly's sister is a dear friend of mine, and I'd ask that you pray for her today as well as her brother and Beverly's parents. I want to share something with you that will forever be in my heart...

Yesterday I attended church where Beverly's dad is interning. This dear man knew his daughter would soon be leaving this world, and folks he preached the gospel with such excitement and clarity! And this dear man and his wife already have two other children in glory, so I know his heart was breaking. His oldest daughter, and my friend, sang two beautiful songs in the service, and the entire family ministered yesterday with such a sweet testimony of God's grace and the hope of eternity with Christ!

I want to tell you folks, Christ is alive and He loves us with such a great love! He died in our place on Calvary, and intercedes at the right hand of the Father for His own. If you don't know Him today, I urge you to pray and seek His face. He will pardon your sins and give you eternal hope that will surpass anything this world has to offer. Turn to Him today!!

I close with the words Beverly's husband left today on her caring bridge site:

God is faithful to keep His promises.

We were gathered around singing Beulah Land and Beverly went home to be with Jesus about 9 p.m. our time. Her last words were, "The angels are here to get me!" All of our kids were here to see Mom go home.

Oh Victory in Jesus! My Savior forever!

Thanks to everybody for praying for our family. Now lets tell the world about Jesus.

We love all of you so dearly. Continue to pray expecting!

Pray for the Easley family today. And Praise God for His goodness and mercy every day!!

Kim I am so sorry for your friend and her family's loss but at the same time we can rejoice that God is faithful and His word is true. Beverly's family will be reunited with her one day in glory. God is so good and we can all hold fast to the knowledge that once we accept Christ as our personal Savior we do not have to fear our earthly death. May His peace be on you and Beverly's beautiful family at this time.

Many Blessings,
Cindy
