MY THOUGHTS:

Don Brown writes a very scary story!! Why? Because it reeks with truth and the possibility that the events that he describes may very well make their way from fiction into reality – sooner than later! With chapters divided into brief segments, dates, times and locations around the world, the reader gets a total picture of the events as they unfold …in chilling reality!

You know, even as I read this book the headlines blare the announcement of Iran’s nuclear capabilities. This has made reading this book a little surreal…and disturbing. All of the sudden the threat of radical Islam and the reality of the threat it represents has been painted in stark images in my mind. It’s a lot to think about!

Don Brown realistically weaves the thread of his faith within the story by revealing the faith of characters who are key players in this plot. He shows their fear, their doubt and their tenacious hold on God’s promises even as chaos breaks upon the world.

Imagine that their has been a technology developed that brings nuclear warfare to a very personal level. Imagine that a radical Muslim terrorist group has decided to become a world superpower and has carefully and methodically manipulated finances, events, political leadership to the point where virtually no one can stand in their way.

Then know that God has raised up men and women of faith for such a time as this, and they are willing to fight to their last breath to save their country, their families, and their freedom! The Malacca Conspiracy takes the reader on a non-stop thrill ride from first page to last, and it leaves you with a renewed determination to stand in the gap when folks need the truth of God’s promises.

You will meet memorable characters all along this journey who will inspire your patriotism anew and make you know that to be a Christian in the United States is indeed one of your greatest blessings! What are you going to do with that blessing?

This is a top notch book when it comes to keeping the reader frantically reading! Yet there is something greater that lingers in your mind when the tale is told…that this book isn’t that far from reality. And that begs the question…where will my faith stand when that time comes? And what will I do with my faith in the mean time?
