ABOUT THE BOOK

A loner, trying to forget. A community--and a woman--who need for him to remember...
Broken relationships and unfulfilled promises scatter themselves across Wayne's past like burned-out craters. His background in military special-ops is something he's trying to forget. But when he gets himself sweet-talked into helping a quirky group of seniors who've been scammed, he discovers it will take a lot more than muscle and nerve. Breach a conman's high-security estate to recover stolen money? No problem. Become part of community? Love again? Not on your life.

A lawyer with her own painful past is intrigued by Wayne and asks him to take on another unusual case--Tatanya's wealthy employer believes he's been visited by...an angel? Did a messenger from God in a pinstripe suit truly bring a divine warning, or is this merely another cruel hoax? Tatanya is willing to trust Wayne with her boss's life, but she's not sure she's ready to trust him with her own wounded heart.

With a financial analyst's skills and a warrior's tenacity, Wayne races to unmask dangerous forces hiding behind a corporate veil. But he will need all his resources--and then some--against an unseen enemy bent on destroying his fragile bid for a second chance at life...and love.

All he wanted was to put his past behind him. But now it's the only thing that will save them...

MY REVIEW:

“A hero is somebody willing to risk all to gain all. It doesn’t matter whether he wins or not. What matters is he tries. What matters is what he tries for. “(p. 357)

Who is the hero of this tale? It is Wayne Grusza, the broken war veteran who can’t find his way back to a meaningful existence? It is Jerry, the retired police officer mourning the loss of his best friend and life partner? Perhaps it is Julio – the surly teen from a gang-infested neighborhood trying to find his way out of the poverty and depravity that surround him. And let’s not forget Tatyana – the ice queen lawyer working for a powerful executive who is convinced God has sent him a personal message. These are only a few of the heroic characters you will meet as you journey All Through the Night.

Davis Bunn has created the most unusual group of heroes you will ever meet. Each person brings a unique texture to the story, and each one touches a different place in your heart and soul. Together, they form an unforgettable, beautiful story of the human spirit as it is resurrected through God’s love from the dark night of broken hearts, shattered dreams and extreme disillusionment. This is a story to be savored. Not only does the plot build in intensity and tension as it progresses, but the word pictures are so vivid and poignant you will find yourself re-reading passages just for the sheer pleasure of the language!

All Through the Night is a beautifully written, suspenseful tale with a dash of romance. It is a hero’s tale in the truest sense! Don’t miss this great book!! Purchase your copy here today!
