My Thoughts:
The details are very different, but I am experiencing Kelli's journey in my own life right now. Needless to say, this was an emotionally challenging book for me to read, but the tears I shed at the end of the story were tears filled with hope and joy that only the Lord can bring to the broken places in our lives!! What a powerful, powerful message Kim Cash Tate shares in her latest novel, Cherished!! I mean God is all through the pages of this story, folks!! HIS love is unconditional, and His blood covers all of our sins! He loves us when we fail Him and gives us every opportunity to run back into His arms and receive His forgiveness!!
The process of being broken to our own willfull sinful choices is not an easy process, but it is SO WORTH it when we repent and come back to the arms of our Savior!! Kelli and her friends and family learn this very truth in a myriad of circumstances in their lives!! It is a great story my friend! If you are going through your own trial, or time of repenting and returning to God, this book will comfort and encourage you in a mighty way!!
Trust GOD alone with your heart! His Love is all you need to restore life and hope where none existed before!
