Nightmare by Robin Parrish - REVIEWED

“Everybody has had at least one of those moments when their insides say something’s happening that’s far outside of normal.” (p.9)

I have just had such an experience….I have read Nightmare by Robin Parrish, and I am spooked!!

This is one wild ride of a book! Alternately creepy, terrifying and just downright unsettling, the reader journeys between the paranormal investigations (in the recent past) of two college women and the present search for the many people who have vanished without a trace. The only initial clue that anyone has to build from is a message Maia Peters hears spoken to her during her visit to an amusement park…”The nightmare is coming”.

From the moment that message is delivered until the final pages of this story it seems like both past and present become saturated with paranormal experiences, and the veil between this world and the next grows thinner by the moment! You will not be able to put this book down, dear reader! But you will very much wish you could! Brrrr!!!

Please, don’t read it while you’re alone. Don’t read it at night. Don’t even think about it too much when you have to stop to perform necessary daily activities. It’s frightening!

If you like a good old-fashioned creeped-out scary experience every once in a while…read Nightmare. Brrrrr!!!!
