B is for Bufflehead by Steve Hutchcraft - REVIEWED

The ABC’s have never been so beautifully and cleverly presented than in the vivid photographs and educational information about the incredible number of birds that grace our world! B is for Bufflehead will soon release, and it is a treasure of information and unforgettable photographs! This is certainly a teaching tool that should be in every home and pre-school where children are eager to explore the alphabet that will soon open up their world to the magic of reading!

Did you know that the Eared Grebe is a gray bird that changes its color into vivid purples and reds and then features distinctive gold feathers on either side of its head? And check out the beautiful Roseate Spoonbill! (below) Have you ever seen such vivid pink? The ibis, known for its glorious white feathers and vivid red legs begins life as a rather homely bird! This has got to be the coolest alphabet book to come along in quite some time!

What is really amazing is the information at the end of the book that expounds a bit on each of these beautiful birds! By the time you have read this to your child several times, they will be absolutely fascinated by both God’s creation and the alphabet that will one day shape their entire world!

I highly recommend this book for young children! This would make a fantastic holiday gift, an addition to a church or public library or a read aloud book for a daycare center. Steve Hutch has created a gem with B is for Bufflehead! Visit the Bufflehead website to learn more about this awesome book!

Looks like a wonderful book!

Reminds me of a similar book from when I was a kid. It was aimed for a bit older kids, but same concept: alphabetical and some of the more unusual animals.

And I won an autographed copy at a public library kid's day for being able to say the alphabet backwards!
