Prayer Requests this Sunday

Dear Blogging Buddies,
I very seldom post my personal "stuff" amid the book reviews, but I feel compelled to do so at this time. I need your prayers, and I hope you will lift up these requests to the Lord.

1. My dad fell and broke the first vertebra in his neck and both bones in his wrist. He just turned 80, and this has really been tough on him and my immediate family. Thankfully, he is beginning to heal, and we are hopeful that he will soon be feeling much better.

2. My precious aunt is now under full-time hospice care. She is in the final stages of brain cancer. Please pray for her children and grandchildren as they stay by her side. Pray for my mom, as my aunt is her other half, and these two are joined in the heart in a very special way.

3. My Granddaddy is having to undergo a series of surgical procedures and has lost his independence. This has been very hard on him, and my dear husband has been called on to help motor him about and help him to feel better. It is an honor to care for him, and our prayer is that he will soon be feeling much better.

4. The rehab facility where my husband and I volunteer has almost doubled the number of women who they minister to. Please pray that the Lord will guide our every step as we try to help an ever growing number of women.

In the midst of all these events, my reading time has grown ever more limited. I hope you will understand if I seem to have gaps in my posts or a lack of my own personal reviews. I'm hopeful that I will be able to return to my regular blogging schedule soon. In the meantime, I appreciate your prayers more than I can say.

From the bottom of my heart,
Kim

Oh dear Lord, surround Kim and her loved ones with Your healing hand, Your presence, Your strength, Your guidance. We pray for healing, for comfort, for stamina and endurance. Bless Kim and her husband as they minister and may they know Your strength in an unusual way. Amen.

Hugs to you, my friend!
