My Thoughts:

“If you take away a man’s right to speak his mind in a country founded on that very principle, you don’t really have a country no, do you?” (p. 306)

John Luther is fighting for his life, for the country he loves and to protect the family he cherishes .  From the very first page, Robin Parrish tell a totally plausible tal,.  His story, Persecuted, is based on Daniel Luska’s film of the same name, and will cause you to rethink what is true, what is false and what you may ultimately be called upon to sacrifice your life to protect.

One of the end-time prophecies in the Bible warns of a deception so great that “were it possible” ever God’s children would be deceived (Matthew 24:24) .  The Bible talks  about a one world government/religion  (Revelation 13, Daniel 7)that will be part of the end times as well. How is that even possible in a Christian country?  Well, Persecuted makes it clearly evident that it’s entirely probable – and perhaps even eminent.

Yes, John Luther’s character and the many other well-developed characters in this story are fictional.  The story flows at a breath-taking pace and will blindside the reader again and again.  This is a true thriller to read!  However, the very last scene will make you shudder with dread.  This fight is real and the stakes are eternal.

Persecution has already begun in the U.S. Gradually, to be sure, but it’s real and it’s rampant.  Put your amour on, readers!  This is an excellent novel !  Now I can’t wait to see the film!!
