Andrea Boeshaar's work is new to me, but oh what a delightful discovery I've made within the pages of her latest novel, Uncertain Heart! I had no trouble relating to Sara McCabe's desire to be her own woman. After all, being the only girlin the family gave her way too many protectors! :) However, Sara wasn't quite as prepared as she thought herself to be. When she winds up as the governess in Captain Brain Sinclair's home, Sara not only finds that the four children capture her heart, but she becomes emotionally invested in Sinclair's accountant, Richard Navis, and eventually in Sinclair himself. Will she be able to discern what her heart desires above all else?
I know, I know, I've read a lot of historical romances lately. And I like them. But there are some stories that just immediately draw you in and don't let you go - and Uncertain Heart is just such a book! I loved the characters, the budding relationshipbetween Richard and Sarah, the children....even the grumpy house staff that kept picking on Sarah! I just loved the feel of this entire story! I think you will too, and I am eager and happy to recommend it to you!
The great thing is...the story isn't over yet! Unexpected Love is due out in January of 2011, and I think we're finally going to find out what ever becomes of the rakish Captain Sinclair! I can't wait!
