Love Finds you in Bridal Veil Oregon by Miralee Ferrell - REVIEWED
The Love Finds You series has taken me to Bridal Veil Oregon this time, and once again I’ve been treated to a romance with a bit of suspense woven around it. Margaret Garvey has lost her first love, and four years after that fact she loses someone else very dear to her. Thinking her future lies alone in the school teacher’s cabin, Margaret moves from her home and wonders why God has been so deaf to her prayers.
When two homeless children arrive in town, the school teacher is the logical choice of a caretaker, so Margaret suddenly finds herself caring for two teens who are obviously being less than honest about where they belong. In the mean while, there has been a murder in town, and the sheriff is also led to Margaret’s door in search of answers. It seems she and a young man were seen at the home of the murder victim, and someone is determined to cast doubt in their direction.
If that wasn’t enough going on, there are a couple of men vying for Margaret’s attention, and she must determine whether or not her heart is being drawn back to a past relationship or whether or not her future holds another relationship that is in her best interest. Throughout the many interesting threads of the story is an element of faith that clearly displays God’s hand in the events that begin to unfold both in Margaret’s life and the life of the children placed in her care. Learning to hear God’s voice makes all the difference in the world as it relates to our past relationships and our future hope. The lessons learned along the way are both tender and memorable. Bridal Veil lives up to its name in the end, because love is discovered and celebrated in very unexpected ways!
